Conformation Classes

Twice a year (typically in the Spring and Fall), Illinois Valley Kennel Club runs conformation classes in Peoria, Illinois. In class, you’ll have the opportunity to practice showing your dog, whether that’s in preparation for an upcoming dog show, learning the ropes as someone totally new to the sport, or an experienced handler with a new puppy.

Classes run for 4 weeks, with one class per week. Bring a show lead, some treats, and your dog! Classes cost $50 for the whole 4 classes, or $15 per class if paying for drop-in’s.

Our Fall classes will be held on Tuesdays at 7pm, at the Expositions Gardens in Peoria. The four class dates will be September 16, 23, 30th, and September 7th, 2025. To find more details and sign up, check out the class application here.
