Conformation Classes

Twice a year (typically in the Spring and Fall), Illinois Valley Kennel Club runs conformation classes in Peoria, Illinois. In class, you’ll have the opportunity to practice showing your dog, whether that’s in preparation for an upcoming dog show, learning the ropes as someone totally new to the sport, or an experienced handler with a new puppy.

Classes run for 4 weeks, with one class per week. Bring a show lead, some treats, and your dog! Classes cost $50 for the whole 4 classes, or $15 per class if paying for drop-in’s.

2026 Classes Update

Classes will be postponed until a new venue for the class can be found. Check our Facebook page and this site for new information. We hope to hold a Summer of Fall class once a new location is found.
